SUMMARY
This position is located in the Food & Beverage department, under the direction of the Grill Supervisor. The Cashier/Cook ensures quality guest service in a professional and friendly manner by greeting and thanking guests for dining in our cafe; works with the MICROS system to record all sales transactions; assists team members as needed or requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Welcomes guests in a friendly and timely manner; maintains superior customer service to all guests at all times.
- Completes all financial transactions in a friendly and timely manner.
- Completes all tasks required to receive a daily GPC vault issued bank, including reporting and tips reconciliations.
- Actively complies with all Title 31 regulations as required/instructed.
- Manages reservations and wait lists.
- Adheres to proper phone etiquette as directed by Management.
- Cooks and Serves all menu items offered and eating outlet.
- Ensures Host areas and MICROS stations are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Assists team members as needed while promoting a positive teamwork environment.
- Ability to perform all duties associated with all Food & Beverage operations and all related and compatible duties as required and/or assigned.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE
One year experience in a high volume food and beverage operations with multiple venue responsibilities, casino experience preferred. Cash handling skills strongly recommended.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Food Handler’s Card is required for all F&B positions.
- TTT Gaming License is required.
JOB DEMANDS
Physical
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
Environmental
Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment, high noise level, bright lights, fluctuative temperatures/weather conditions.
