SUMMARY

The position located in the Food & Beverage department, under the direction of the Grill Supervisor.  The Cashier/Cook ensures quality guest service in a professional and friendly manner by greeting and thanking guests for dining in our cafe; works with Point-of-Sale system to record all sales transactions; assists team members as needed or requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Welcomes guests in a friendly and timely manner; always maintains superior customer service to all guests.
  2. Complete all financial transactions in a friendly and timely manner.
  3. Completes all tasks required to receive a daily GPC vault issued bank, including reporting and tips reconciliations.
  4. Actively comply with all Title 31 regulations as required/instructed.
  5. Adheres to proper phone etiquette as directed by Management.
  6. Cooks and serves all menu items offered and eating outlet.
  7. Ensure Host areas and stations are always kept clean and presentable.
  8. Assists team members as needed while promoting a positive teamwork environment.
  9. Ability to perform all duties associated with all Food & Beverage operations and all related and compatible duties as required and/or assigned.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE

One year’s experience in a high-volume food and beverage operations with multiple venue responsibilities, casino experience preferred.  Cash handling skills strongly recommended.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  1. Food Handler’s Card is required for all F&B positions.
  2. TTT Gaming License is required.
