SUMMARY

The Game Tech Representative is the central point of contact with gaming public regarding casino gaming machine activities. They work with other departments to ensure that customer transactions are accurate and timely. They ensure that the floor is a safe working and playing environment for all employees and customers. They report directly to the Lead Floor Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. The Game Tech representative will know how to review the gaming menus on all of the different vendor’s machines. Shall be able to review money history, game-play history, and voucher history to better assist the customer and ensure proper payment towards the machine and the customer. Shall research any available reports provided by the Konami system or a management terminal hooked to the servers for class II games.
  2. The Game Tech shall be the casinos first line of service and exercise optimal customer service. Employee will have a vast knowledge of how games are played and should be able to assist players with any questions as to how the game is played and game-play it self. This position will require strong problem solving capability due to the importance of ensuring valid payouts upon cashing out.
  3. The Game Tech shall know the difference between a class II and a class III machine and if unable to return any information then file a claim against the machine until the vendor can return a response.
  4. The Game Tech shall acknowledge a Jackpot through the Table Trac back office system and collect any required information to provide for any over-the-limit Jackpot.
  5. The Game Tech representative shall be able to fix the basic errors such as printer paper refills, or jams, and bill acceptor jams.
  6. They will be able to determine when to reboot the machine to clear any minor issues that require a reboot.
  7. They will be able to assist with any printer failures or hand-pay situations where the machine failed to provide a printed ticket.
  8. This position creates an environment of entertainment, excitement, and fun. The position communicates upcoming and current promotions to customers and employees. Helps patron with their player’s card and encourages card usage.
  9. Maintains a professional appearance at all times and assures prompt courteous service to all customers, internal and external.
  10. The Game Tech representative shall maintain the appearance of the floor at all times which includes pushing in chairs, and picking up cups.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE

Environment typically is a Class II or III Casino experience preferred.

One year customer service experience required, preferably in a casino environment

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Obtain/maintain TTT Gaming License. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.

Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.

Environmental

Work in office and casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights.
